Third Defense consultants work with you to prioritize existing and proposed spending areas. Results are input into the Third Defense Risk Communicator tool enabling you to visually compare and modify the cost-benefit of spending options. This engagement is often the second phase of improving the risk assessment process.

Align Resources
Leveraging your service catalog developed in the Plan phase, the resource alignment engagement determines where your team spends its time and money. Results are collected across high level time buckets of Business as Usual, Short Term, and Long Term Projects. The benefits are a visual representation to determine resource allocation and help communicate needed changes.
Engagement
Third Defense consultants interview key personnel to capture high-level time commitments and enter the results to the Third Defense Service Manager application. We’ll also train select individuals to enter time on a quarterly or semi-annual basis to identify trends. We believe detailed or hourly tracking produces diminishing returns. However a periodic review enables you to set expectations and communicate where you’re actually spending your time vs. where others think you are.
